Apple recently launched its iPhone 15 series with new updates and features, and now new rumors have started to surface on the internet about the design and specifications of the iPhone 16. Some are saying it will come with new colors, while others are suggesting camera upgrades.
Now, a new article from MacRumors has come up with the new iPhone 16 design, named the vanilla design iPhone 16. According to MacRumors, Apple is experimenting with the new back design of the next iPhone series, and a new button placement-type back camera is going to be introduced.
Two different types of camera bump designs by Apple:
- iPhone 12-style design, which comes with two camera lenses.
- iPhone X-type design, which comes with a singular pill-shaped enclosure.
The pink iPhone comes with an action button, and it has separate mechanical volume buttons, while the midnight iPhone has a larger-sized action button, which comes with a new capture button. According to MacRumors, the iPhone in black design is expected to be introduced by Apple next year.
According to the rumors iPhone 16 is tipped to come in three different colors:
- Yellow iPhone 16
- Pink iPhone 16
- Midnight iPhone 16
Apple is testing a new button, which is tipped to be designed on the right side of the iPhone 16. According to the rumors, the iPhone 16 might come with all-new AI features and a capture button, which is going to be located in the same spot as the mmWave cutout on iPhone models sold in the United States.
iPhone 16 prototype images in yellow are going to feature a volume rocker button, which will replace the volume up and down buttons. These volume up and down buttons have been used in Apple since 2010.
iPhone 16 will have the following key updates:
- Vertical camera arrangement (same as in iPhone 12)
- New capacitive Capture Button
- Capacitive Action Button
The iPhone 16 in the black model features a capture button, which is going to be placed near the power button. According to MacRumors, this new button is known as “Project Nova” inside Apple HQ. The action button is expected to come in all iPhone 16 variants.
